Join The Qualitative Magazine (TQM) Network Across Nigeria

The Qualitative Magazine (TQM), Nigeria’s foremost disability advocacy and inclusive news platform, is expanding its national reporting network and invites passionate, dedicated, and community-minded individuals to serve as Volunteer State Correspondents in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

If you are passionate about disability inclusion, human rights, social development, and impactful storytelling, this is an opportunity to use your voice to promote positive change and amplify the experiences of persons with disabilities across Nigeria.

Areas of Coverage

Successful correspondents will report on issues including:

  • Disability rights and inclusion
  • Accessibility and assistive technology
  • Education and employment
  • Health and rehabilitation
  • Sports and recreation
  • Climate change and humanitarian issues
  • Government policies and programmes
  • Innovation and inclusive development
  • Inspiring stories of persons with disabilities

Responsibilities

Volunteer State Correspondents will be expected to:

  • Report disability-related news and events in their state.
  • Submit accurate, well-written, and timely news stories.
  • Capture quality photographs and short videos where appropriate.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical journalism and professionalism.
  • Serve as ambassadors of disability inclusion within their communities.
