Access to Airports for PWDs in Nigeria: CCD and its Coalition Partners receive training on Safeguarding

The Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD) and partnering organizations collaborating on Access to Airports for PWDs in Nigeria on Tuesday the 5th of October held safeguarding training to enhance the capacities of the partner organizations. The training is in line with the project activities ensuring that the beneficiaries are protected on all fronts.
In attendance are the leaders of the coalition partners; Mr. David O. Anyaele (ED, CCD), Mr. Obioha O. (Chairman, SCIAN) and Miss Aver Akighir (ED, HAPI) and staff of the partnering organizations.
The aim of the training is to strengthen the safeguarding knowledge and development of project partners and focal officers. As this will futher help to ensure that duties are knowledgeably and safely carried out. And will develop the ability of project officers to communicate effectively with the beneficiaries.
The project is aimed at creating awareness on the right of PWDs to accessible airports and airlines services in Nigeria. The project is supported by Disability Rights Fund.
