Centre for Disability And Special Needs Research ( CENDASNER), Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra has honoured The Qualitative Magazine (TQM) with an Award of Excellence known as CENDASNER Special Award.
The Executive Director of The Qualitative Magazine, Comrade Chris Agbo received the award on Monday from Prof Williams Obiozor at Armed Forces Radio 107.7fm during the organization’s radio program known as CARING HEART(a disability radio talk show).
Prof Obiozor while presenting the award to Comrade Chris said that the award is meant to be presented to The Qualitative Magazine as a surprise but the Executive Director was absent at the launch of the centre on July 2021.
So Prof Obiozor who is the Executive Director of the centre in his visit to Abuja this week, decided to make the presentation.
Prof Obiozor who is in company of the Secretary of the centre further said that the award is in recognition of TQM’s contributions to Public sensitization on persons with disabilites in Nigeria.
He also said that it serve as a moral booster for The Qualitative Magazine (TQM) to do more.
