Tension was high, there were a lot of mistrust and banters as if the election would not be peaceful, but when the exercise finally commenced, it was seamless and very peaceful. Election was conducted on the position of Chairman, Publicity Secretary and Treasurer where more than one person was cleared.
After the casting of votes by cluster delegates, Ex-officials and contestants, the election after counting, Alhaji Sulayman Abdulmumuni Ujah from Deaf Cluster was elected as the Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) FCT having defeated Comrade Issac Nosa from the same cluster 39 to 10 Votes, Obinna Bede Ekujereonye from Blind Cluster defeated Kenneth Eticheche from the same cluster 32-14 to win the post of Publicity Secretary, after a stalemate at the first at the first election of the Treasurer between Barrister Calister Ugwuanaeke and Kalu Eke both from Blind Cluster, when they scored 24 each, the second election on the position saw Kalu Eke defeated Barrister Calister Ugwuanaeke 29Â to 16 votes.

Abdulmumuni Ujah who was reelected in his acceptance speech promised to run all inclusive administration where all crutches must be carried along and he also promised a more harmonize and peaceful executive free from rancour in order to achieve a lot for good of persons with disabilities in the FCT.
He also said that his new tenure would be better than the first because he would be working harder alongside with his Executives to bring the desired development to persons with disabilities in FCT.
