Over 100 PWDs in Kogi State Benefit from APPEALS Project, to get N2million grant each

Through APPEALS Project over Over 100 persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Kogi State were trained on different skills.

It is expected that after the training, they should be given grant worth over N2million each to start their different choose enterprises.

In a statement sent to TQM signed by Comr Arome Ibro, JONAPWD Chairman, Kogi State, the total number of beneficiaries in the project in Kogi State is 1, 700 out of which the 5% meant for PWDs supposed to be 85 but out of love from the Governor of Kogi state and the State Project Coordinator (SOC), the opportunity was given to 102 PWDs.

The training which started on 26th of July ended on Saturday 31st July, 2021 at Ahmodu Bello University college of Agriculture, Kabba Satellite campus.

It was a total joy and jubilation among PWDs who were part of it and have successfully passed out of the training .
