Groups lift ailing children with N100m

The Global Initiative for Peace, Love, and Care (GIPLC), in partnership with a foundation owned by Igho Charles Sanomi has financially supported children battling critical health conditions.

The beneficiaries and their families witnessed the event in Abuja.

According to the organisers, the event was a testament to the unwavering dedication of GIPLC and a celebration of unity and the power of collective action.Sanomi, who was represented by the DG of GIPLC, Nuhu Kwajafa, presented the cheques to the jubilant families.

Over N100m, equivalent to approximately $160,000.00, was presented to deserving children in need.

These funds were raised during a birthday/charity dinner held in May.Eleven-year-old Elizabeth Joseph with a hole in her heart, received a gift of N10 million, paving the way for her life-saving surgery.

Abiye Amabeoku, a nine-year-old battling the Blount virus, was granted N1.8 million, a beacon of hope in her journey toward recovery.

Kamsiyochukwu Okwudiri, a 14-year-old who lost her vision, was bestowed with N1.5 million to restore her sight.

Kelechi Uhegwu, in need of spinal cord surgery, was granted N 23.7 million.

Joseph Nosa, a brave 4-year-old with a hole in his heart, received N4 million, to mend his fragile heart.Malan Jonathan, a 13-year-old battling a tumor in his stomach, was granted N2 million, a ray of hope amidst the darkness.
