On Monday 15th, November 2021, a group of people with disabilities under the auspices of a registered PDP Support group called Citizens with Unique Abilities in Politics, Cross River State Chapter, paid a solidarity visit to the State Working Committee of the party.
Speaking during the visit, the Chairman of the group, Comrade Ogar Inyang Ojang, expressed optimism with the new leadership of the Party and its ability to run an all-inclusive government. He assured the SWC of the group’s unflinching support, while thanking the SWC for facilitating the involvement of the group in the last National Convention of the Party.
“As people with unique abilities in Cross River State, the Peoples Democratic Party has remained a home and shield for us in the time of storm. We are happy with the all-inclusive leadership style of the State Working Committee and we express our gratitude particularly to the SWC for including us in the last National convention. Our support for the party shall never cease” he said.
Reacting to the comment made by the group leader, the State Chairman of the Party, who was represented by the deputy Chairman, Hon Dennis Nkiri, thanked the group for the solidarity visit and assured them of greater days ahead.
“Let me on behalf of the State Chairman of the Party and State Working Committee members, thank you all for this show of solidarity. It gladdens my heart that you are aware that PDP is the only shield and umbrella for everyone irrespective of colour, tribe or language. We are committed to birthing a new Cross River State and I assure you all to remain committed to the party because better days are coming”
The Peoples Democratic Party is committed to the task of rescuing Cross River State and we enjoin all Cross Riverians to be part of this renaissance.
