Aniocha South LGA chapter of JONAPWD Delta-State on Tuesday 7 September, 2021 embarked on a peaceful protest demanding the following from the local government council:
1.Over 18 letters, they have written to the council, letters both for congratulations and schedule of appointment, none was attended to.
2. Since the creation of Aniocha South LGA, persons with disabilities have never benefited anything from the Local government, what they always witness is marginalisation and negligence.
3. There has never been any job employment in favour of persons with disabilities in Aniocha south.
4. The special school in Aniocha south, No PWDs is teaching there.
5. From first to the present stage of Covid-19, persons with disabilities from Aniocha south have never receive any palliative from the council.
6. What about inclusion of some persons with disabilities into Aniocha south payroll?.
7. Aniocha South PWD’s are entitled to a vehicle just like other LGA’s considering our vulnerable nature.
