This remarkable decision highlights a commitment to diversity and equal opportunities within the political sphere.

The appointment was officially announced through an appointment letter personally signed by Hon. Adeleye and made available to the press in Abeokuta. Isiaka, who is deaf and dumb, has been a staunch supporter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and is slated to assume office on May 1st, 2024.

Adeleye expressed confidence in Isiaka’s ability to tackle the challenges of his new role and contribute significantly to the attainment of their shared objectives.

Isiaka’s duties as Special Assistant will encompass the standard responsibilities of the office, along with any additional tasks assigned to him. The appointment comes with provisions for termination, including a one-month notice period or payment of one month’s salary in lieu of notice. It is noteworthy that the appointment will remain valid until the conclusion of the 10th assembly’s tenure in June 2027.
