The Special Adviser to the Sokoto State Governor on People with Disabilities, Hon. Abdul-Azeez Ibrahim has distributed relief package to people with disabilities in Sokoto.
Speaking at the flag-off of the distribution, the Special Adviser revealed that the current administration under the leadership of Governor Aminu Tambuwal is doing its possible best to support people with disabilities across the 23 local governments of the state.
According to him, the gesture was part of his efforts to alleviate their living conditions, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. Hon. Abdul-Azeez, however, assured them that more of such gestures are underway.
Some of the beneficiaries lauded the effort of the Special Adviser and the Sokoto state Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, for coming to their aid and prayed to Almighty Allah to reward the Special Adviser abundantly.
The Deaf, the blind and persons with albinism were among the beneficiaries.
