Some seven months into its first tenure, the Nigeria National Association of the Deaf, NNAD, under the charismatic leadership of Hon. Chidi Topaz-Olujie has finally published a list of members to man its various committees.
The list of names was on Tuesday published on the official website of the apex Deaf body as well as major deaf platforms in document signed by its National Secretary, Engr. Timothy Adejumo.
Consisting of an unprecedented nineteen different committees, this new order reflects the youthful administration’s vision to usher in a new dawn through an overarching qualitative and quantitative development drive.
Also included in the signed document were the mandated roles and responsibilities of each committee.
With this release, it now behooves the various committee members to rally up and ensure the administration’s lives up to its promises. Meanwhile, given the rather lengthy time it has taken to release the list of committee members, expectations are high for a well oiled machinery primed to roar into life full throttled in the drive towards improved living standards and loftier ideals for Deaf Nigeria.
