Amb. Ebuka Okeke, the National Youth Leader, Nigerian National Association for the Deaf has expressed his gratitude to God for a successful outing at the 2nd National Deaf Youth Summit held at Lafia Nasarawa State recently.
In a statement sent to The Qualitative Magazine (TQM), Mr. Ebuka said that the Summit had Deaf youths from over 23 states in Nigeria gathered together with common goal which is to interact, exchange ideas on issues of youths and network.
“Our gratitude goes to the Nasarawa State Government, NASCO Group, NAPTIP, NDLEA, NHRC, organizations and individuals who invested their resources to see the summit go well” he said.
He thanked Douglas Izuchukwu, the WFDYS Secretary for his immense contribution.
He also extended his appreciation to Fanem Damian Ayua for coordinating the summit as well as The Nasarawa State Youth Leader and National Executives for supporting the summit.
“We believe youths leaders who attended learned something during the summit and we urge them to be ready to share their experiences to deaf youths in their states who didn’t make it at Lafia due to logistics” he added.
“Thanks to every youth who participated and for supporting us in one or the other way. You are all appreciated!”
