Voice of Disability Initiative(VDI) with the support Amplify Change distributed palliatives to 50 women with disabilities and the vulnerable ones in Enugu State.
TQM learnt that the items such as packs of noddles, beverages, oil, rice, soap were meant to cushion the effect of COVID-19 lockdown on women with disabilities.
The distribution of items were done on Wednesday at the premises of Enugu East LG chairman.
The Executive Director of VDI, Barr. Catherine Edeh expressed her gratitude to the Chairman, Enugu East LGA for allowing the event to take place within his vicinity.
Kate as she is fondly called, urged the women with disabilities to be focus, determined, fearless to confront their challenges. She informed that more are still coming.
