The Gombe State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB have donated 100 mattress which will largely help in curtailing the accommodation facilities challenges of the school.
The SUBEB chairman Mr Babaji Babadidi has early paid a visit to the final year students of the said school last month during when the final year students were in the school ahead to their final year examination. During the visitation, the chairman asked the students what’s their problems in which they addressed such as shortage of water supply, inadequate teaching staff,shortage of mattress for students accommodation in the hostel among others.
Mr Babadidi promise the students that he will try his best to aid them especially with 100 mattresses and the rest of those problems they are encountering in the school which he fulfilled and promised to do more.
While appreciating the efforts, Mr Safiyanu Bappah, a former student and staff of the school said “let me use this medium to on behalf of myself, my fellow members of the Alumni of the school and the entire students of the centre to wholeheartedly appreciate and commend the Chairman of the Board for this laudable gesture, while praying Almighty Allah to bless him and the government at large.
I wish, hopes and pray that he will continue helping the school by extending his milk of human kindness to bear on all facet of life”
