SafeHost, an Inclusive School In FCT Unveils E-Centre To Improve ICT Knowledge Of The Pupils

One of the leading Inclusive School in FCT, SafeHost International Academy has unveiled e-centre to enhance the knowledge of the pupils in information technology.

The unveiling of the e- centre is part of the activities of the 2023 graduation ceremony of the School on Friday, 14th July, 2023.

The Proprietor of the School, Mrs. Ngozi Joy Belolisa while introducing the e-centre said that there is a need for pupils to start at tender age to develop their knowledge in Information technology because it is where the world is going.

The E-centre were equipped with desktop computers, printers and photocopy machine.

The science laboratory was also unveiled to enhance the learning capacity of pupils in science.

Mrs. Ngozi who referred to the pupils as prince and princess said that in SafeHost every boy child is a prince and every girl child is a princess.

She said that these pupils have accomplished a lot in their journey to graduation and they need to be celebrated.

She described their teachers as the best and thanked them for nurturing and guiding the pupils with dedication , care, love and knowledge to prepare them for challenges ahead.

“We believe in the power of education to shape minds, ignite curiosity, inspire greatness in every child” she added.

“Our Moto; To every child according to their needs, so every of our teacher take a child according to his or her ability” she stated.

“We are not only interested in the academics, the emotional and psychological wellbeing is also very important to us”.

In a ceremony that brought together parents of these pupils to witness amazing presentation by pupils both those with disabilities and those without disabilities.

The children made several mind-blowing presentations to the admiration of the parents.

One of the exciting scenes was a child with disability who can play several songs on piano. She played the National Anthem. It was an amazing scene.

The event also witnessed non academic and academic awards and there was also special recognition of individuals who have contributed selflessly to improving the lot of the academy.

Notably, in the awards were Favour Adjara, a woman with disability who volunteered to assist the academy in several ways without demanding for payment and Bibora Yinkere, the founder and convener of The Engraced Ones for carrying along the School in development of the pupils in sports and many other activities especially pupils with disabilities.
