Nasarawa State House of Assembly member representing Keana Constituency, Hon Mohammed Adamu Omadefu, has donated fifty wheelchairs to Persons with Disabilities in his constituency. This, he says is to change their lives positively.
Omadefu, while donating the wheel chairs on Wednesday, said the gesture was borne out of his desire to improve the beneficiaries standard of living.
The donation was done in collaboration with Beautiful Gate Handicap People’s Center.
Omadefu, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Information, urged the beneficiaries to use the wheelchairs for the purpose they are meant for.
”This donation is part of my commitment to positively change the lives of our disabled persons
“I want to assure the people of this constituency of my readiness to provide much needed dividends of democracy,” he said.
Omadefu also assured the people of sound representation at State legislative level. He therefore solicited support from all and sundry to enable him succeed.
The lawmaker called on the people of his constituency and the entire State to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule administration beyond 2023.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke at the event appreciated the lawmaker for the gesture and promised to use the wheelchairs for the purpose they are meant for.
The event had in attendance Secretary of the State APC Caretaker Committee, Mr. Aliyu Bello, other lawmakers, and high placed personalities.
