The Erudite Executive Secretary, NCPWD, Mr James Lalu,As part of his continuous efforts to bridge the gap between persons with Disabilities and the society , attended a workshop for PWDs in Kano state
The ES, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities called for the need to empower rural women as key agents for achieving transformation in terms of economical, environmental and social changes required for sustainable development.
This came to the fall at a two ( 2) day workshop on development implementation facilitation for PWDs and Special Needs on 21st April, 2021 by
Agro Productivity Enhancement and livelihood- Improvement Support Kano Branch .
In his opening address, the ES talked about approaches that will address inclusiveness of PWDs and recognize that the needs of PWDs are invariably different.
Representing the commission was the Executive Secretary Mr. James Lalu, Ag.Director Social Integration Mr. Lawrence Idemudia and some staffs of the Commission.
