AID Talent Hunt Winner pays a visit to 7 Guards Battalion in Abuja

Nick Bebiem, an Abuja based comedian, promoter of Miss Health Nigeria and AID Talent Hunt Show on Thursday in Abuja led his team of AID Talent Hunt Show, the winner of just concluded AID Talent Hunt Show, DJ Augustine and the runners up DJ skills to visit 7 Guards Battalion (Guards Brigade) at Lungi Barracks to present the winners.

The Commanding Officer of The Guards, Lt Col. MS Daroda was on hand to receive the team with some of other commanders who are also present at the meeting.

Nick Bebiem while introducing the winners said that the visit was informed by civilian and military relationship which is very important for the advancement of peace and harmony within the society. He told the commanders that the winners are blind DJs who are so talented in so many ways in the area of music. He said that they can play every musical instruments, voicing and their art in DJ work is amazing. He informed that the AID Talent Hunt is first of its kind and it is designed to promote talents among persons with disabilities.

Lt Col. Daroda in his speech praised the courage of persons with disabilities who participated at the AID Talent Hunt, he said that he followed the show when it was being aired and all the contestants were amazing and they are all winners but in a contest, there must be the overall winnner. He congratulated the winners and told them that he have always enjoyed their performance. He also said that the Talent Hunt Show have shown that persons with disabilities can do great things, that being a person with disability does not stop one from aspiring for great things.

Speaking further, he promised to always contract the services of the DJs whenever they are celebrating within the mess which will help for other people to see them and patronize them.

The DJ Augustine and DJ SKills performed to the admirable of the officers who praised them and said that they would have been dancing if not that they were at work and they were on uniform.

The officers presented a token of gift to the winners to encourage them in what they are doing and urge them not to give up in their chosen career.

DJ Skills speaking on behalf of the winners appreciated their gesture and prayed to God to bless the officers. He also appreciated them for the warm welcome.
