Onedibe chinenye Florence is a 32 year old lady with physical disability from Anambra State who became a Disk Jockey ( DJ) known as DJ Flozy. one of the International Baddest female DJ in Enugu.
Growing up as a child, DJ Flozy have always had passion for music.
Music has been the only source of joy to her and a good distraction from her troubles in this world as she described how obsessed she is to music.
To live her passion, she engaged in the business of selling musical CDs. At a time, her business started going down.
So, she became desperate for another way of staying in a business that will fulfill her passion.
“With much struggle I bought a laptop and started playing music in my shop to boost the sales I noticed it attracted more people” she narrated.
Then people started calling her DJ and then she noticed that she can do well as a DJ and enrolled as a DJ trainee.
So, she discovered her business opportunity from her passion.
“Since then my business grew as people started contacting me and recommending me for DJ services” she told TQM.
“Life is too short to have a boring event. I love to bring life and colour to your events. with us you can be sure of premium beats and tunes for any kind of occasion”. This is her business slogan.
She got all her DJ equipment gradually from little savings as she was getting jobs. She told TQM that after sorting out all those that she rented equipment from, whatever that remains, she saves, N1,000, N2,000, N3,000, M5,000 etc, that’s how got her mixer, speakers, microphones, generator set and other equipment that is totaling over half a million naira.
She has a crew now and those who are learning under her tutelage.
The only challenge she have now is a vehicle that would be conveying her equipment, sometimes, she get to an event late because of lack of vehicle. The drivers do disappoint her most times which is almost ruining her relationship with some clients.
She needs assistance in that area to maximize her opportunities.
