TAF enhances knowledge of Private Sector entities on Concept of Disability and Disability Act

The Albinism Foundation TAF on Thursday 9th December, 2021 in Abuja organized a one-day sensitization workshop for private sector entities on the contents of the discrimination against persons with disabilities (prohibition) act, 2018.

Mr. Damian Ivom, National Programme Officer, TAF while giving the objective of the event is for the participants who are the private sectors to ensure they know the concept of disability and the contents of the Discrimination against persons with disabilities (Prohibition) Act 2018, sensitizing and mainstreaming the issues of PWDs in their different sectors to ensure that PWDs have equal access in your sector. How accessible your environment is, the structures, the communications with PWDs in your various institutions, banking halls, plazas, and all sectors of your institutions.

Speaking further, He said that TAF is expecting that the participants will have a better perception on how to mainstream PWDs in their different organization and give them space in their various institutions. .
