The students of Bethesda School of the Blind gave a good account of themselves at an event held to mark the 70 birthday of a top businesswoman, Apostle Folorunsho Alakija.
Tagged a ‘7-hour praise worship service’ to celebrate Jesus in the life of Alakija, the blind students looked like the happiest people on earth despite their situation and gave everyone a reason to smile. They danced, sang and praised God more than everyone in the building.
Apostle Alakija has been one of their strong pillars and she has even pledged to do more for the students as well as the school.
The students also demonstrated their love and appreciation to her while praising God. They even sang with her name.
Alakija also launched 5 books to celebrate her 70th birthday in the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Mrs. Stella Okolo; Aisha Babangida; Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa and the wife of the governor of Ekiti State, Bisi Adeleye-Fayemi.
