TQM report,
Following a sustained campaign by the Rivers State chapter of NACCIMA Business Women Group (NAWORG) to get the interest of the women represented and addressed in public policy, attitudes, and practices, and in recognition of the invaluable contributions of some key resource persons in achieving their gender advocacy objective, Naworg Rivers State chapter appreciated the contribution of these women with the presentation of plaques to show their gratitude.
They are former Manufacturers Association Of Nigeria (MAN) Vice-Chairperson for Eastern zone, and Proprietress of Showers International School, Mrs Ekama Akpan, Proprietress of Jephtha Comprehensive Secondary School, Mrs Ifeoma Chukwuogo, and Ndifreke Andrew Essien of Faecare Foundation.
The Rivers state chapter Coordinator of NAWORG, Arc. Oriaku Hanson Oyet-ile while making her remark after the various presentations said, these women have played significant roles in the life of our organization and deserve even better.
According to her, one of the easiest and most effective ways to motivate others is by appreciating them. When you praise or appreciate someone it indicates that you have recognized their effort, it may encourage them to go the extra mile.
For us in Rivers NAWORG, we know that giving recognition inspires greatness in others, that is why we have taken time out to appreciate this group of women and to say thank you for your contributions.
It will be recalled that earlier in the month under review, NAWORG Rivers state chapter specially honoured the President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Chief Nabil Saleh for his sustained support for the women group.
