The Sokoto State Government under the able leadership of Rt Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has released a huge amount of money ordered quick payment for straight 3 months to people with special needs across the state.
This was disclosed by the Special adviser to the executive Governor on people with Disability matters, Honourable Abdul Azeez Ibrahim during the payment under his functional office.
The beneficiary amidst are Persons with Leprosy
Deaf, Blind, Polio survivors, people with Spinal cord injuries, persons withAlbinism among others.
S.A called on the beneficiaries to make use of the money for investment to enable them take care of themselves, and their family instead of unwanted street begging which is unlawful Islamically.
Addressing the press, the Honourable S.A said that they recruit new people, and replaced especially the dead one, so that numerous people with Disabilities can benefit from and engage in government programmes and activities.
The beneficiares were very grateful. They thanked the governor and also commend the effort of the Honourable S.A AbdulAzeez for his tireless efforts of n putting smile and nourishment on their faces.
He concluded by Thanking the Almighty Allah and the Governor for his love and kindness to People with Disabilities in the state.
