Raheem Yusuf Olatunji, the MD of Yutex Group have invented a movable ramp known as YASAB F1 Ramp. It is a ramp made of aluminum sheet and rails.
Last week, the YASAB F1 Ramp was installed at the office of Inclusive Friends Foundation.
During the installation, the Executive Director, Inclusive Friends Foundation, Grace Jerry was there to test the ramp, and The ED of The Qualitative Magazine TQM, Chris Obiora Agbo who is a friend to the inventor, Raheem Yusuf Olatunji was there also to grace this milestone in disability community.
YABAB F1 Ramp which was locally made and proudly designed by Yutex Group under the watch of MD, Raheem is made to provide option for those who may not want to disrupt the design of their building.
Raheem while speaking to TQM about the ramp said that the idea of ramp is because that they are places that wheelchair users can find themselves and there would be need for ramp but modifications may be difficult. He also said that there is plan to build the one that wheelchair users can carry about and make use of it whenever they are in place that does not have ramp.
He appreciated the ED, Inclusive Friends Association, Grace Jerry for her unwavering support, friendliness, understanding and kindness during production of the ramp in spite of all the challenges. He described Grace Jerry as an ambassador of accessibility and inclusion, commending her and her team for the great workHe also thanked the ED, The Qualitative Magazine, Mr. Agbo Christian Obiora for coming to cover the installation of the ramp at IFA’s office in Abuja.
“Accessible environment remains our number one priority. Our commitment is to provide solutions to problems of inaccessibility through our innovative products that enable accessibility for all Persons With Disabilities” he concluded.
