SSAP Abba Isa Expresses Shock and Condolences Following the Death of Comrade Bala Tsoho

Abuja, October 19, 2024Hon. Mohammed Abba Isa, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Special Needs and Equal Opportunities, has expressed profound shock and sadness at the untimely death of Comrade Bala Tsoho Musa, MFR. The distinguished disability advocate was tragically killed by unknown assailants at his residence in Bwari, Abuja, leaving the community heartbroken and devastated.

In a heartfelt condolence message, Hon. Abba Isa mourned the loss of Comrade Tsoho, highlighting his unwavering commitment to disability advocacy and his significant contributions to the empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across Nigeria.

“Comrade Tsoho was not just a colleague; he was a beacon of hope and a tireless champion for those who often go unheard,” he stated. “His dedication to uplifting the lives of individuals with disabilities will forever resonate in our hearts.”

Until his tragic passing, Comrade Tsoho served as a Master Metal Worker at the FCT Vocational Rehabilitation Centre in Kuchiko. He was honored by the Nigerian government with the prestigious national honor of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR), recognizing his outstanding contributions to disability advocacy and national development.

A Lasting Legacy of Leadership and Inspiration

Hon. Abba Isa emphasized that Comrade Tsoho’s impact on the disability community would be sorely missed. “His leadership, courage, and passion for justice inspired countless individuals,” he remarked, adding that many would continue to carry forward the important work he championed. “His vision for an inclusive and equitable society must live on.”

The Senior Special Assistant extended prayers to the bereaved family, asking Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. He also prayed for eternal rest for the deceased, welcoming him into Aljanah Firdaus.

“Comrade Tsoho’s legacy will be upheld by all those he inspired,” Hon. Abba Isa affirmed. “We are committed to continuing the mission he held dear, standing in solidarity with the principles he fought for.”
