This morning, we got a message from a young man with disability who have been struggling to be educated but finances have become a challenge and if nothing is done, he is faced with the risk of dropping out. We all know how important education is especially for persons with disabilities. He needs our assistance and below is the message he sent to us this morning.
“My name is Thomas Godwin Abah from Benue state Okpokwu LGA. My dad is late, I am the only one with disability in family and it has been struggles for me all this while, my mum has been trying her possible best in order to see me through school. I have finished National Diploma and also HND1. My challenge right now is how to afford my school fee for HND2 (Final section) when ASUP call off the strike. This is because my mum actually lost her job during the COVID-19 Lockdown and since then things have not really been easy. Please I solicit for financial assistance to enable me complete my studies.
