One Year In Office: Hon. Aduku Lauds Gov. Ododo’s Transformative Leadership in Disability Inclusion

Hon. Emmanuel Aduku, the former House of Assembly candidate for Ankpa 1 Constituency, has joined the people of Kogi State in celebrating His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on his one-year anniversary as Governor of Kogi State. Aduku described the governor as a visionary and God-sent leader whose impact has been felt across the state in just 12 months of his administration.

In a statement filled with heartfelt prayers and commendation, Hon. Aduku expressed his gratitude to God for granting Gov. Ododo the wisdom and grace to lead Kogi State. He prayed for divine guidance, protection, and continuous success for the governor in the tasks ahead, noting that leadership comes with immense responsibility.

According to Aduku, Governor Ododo has already etched his name in gold through his remarkable achievements within this short period in office. “His Excellency has brought transformative leadership to Kogi State. The people are pleased with his administration and are solidly behind him in prayers and unwavering support,” he remarked.

One of the highlights of Hon. Aduku’s message was his profound appreciation for the governor’s commitment to inclusivity, particularly his strides in supporting the community of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Aduku acknowledged Gov. Ododo’s dedication to improving the lives of PWDs in Kogi State by ensuring their representation in key government positions.

“His Excellency has demonstrated genuine love and concern for Persons with Disabilities by appointing individuals with disabilities to strategic positions. Notable among these appointments is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Disability Matters and the Executive Secretary of the Disability Commission. These appointments reflect his deep understanding of the need for inclusivity and equal opportunity in governance,” Aduku said.

He further commended the governor for other proactive policies and programs aimed at making life easier for PWDs. Aduku highlighted the governor’s efforts in creating opportunities that empower and integrate PWDs into the state’s socio-economic framework, a move that has been widely praised by stakeholders and advocacy groups.

“Governor Ododo has shown that he is not just a leader for the privileged few but a governor for all. His inclusiveness and people-oriented policies have earned him the trust and prayers of the entire PWD community in Kogi State. We are grateful for his efforts and will continue to pray for his success,” Aduku added.

As the governor marks one year in office, Hon. Aduku called on the people of Kogi State to remain united and continue supporting the administration’s vision for growth and development. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and the people to achieve lasting progress.

In conclusion, Hon. Emmanuel Aduku prayed for Almighty God to bless and protect Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo with good health, wisdom, and strength to steer the affairs of Kogi State to greater heights. He reaffirmed his belief that with the governor’s continued dedication and God’s guidance, Kogi State would witness unprecedented development and inclusivity.
