The Lagos State Government has urged residents to work towards including persons with disabilities in society.
The General Manager of Lagos State Office of Disability Affairs, Dare Dairo, made this call at the human resource expo Africa work festival 2022.
On her part, the convener of the work festival, Erefa coker, emphasized the need for employers to open opportunities to people living with disability as enshrined in the National Policy on Disability.

It is an advocacy tool or public enlightenment campaign platform to change the mindset of the public about disability because if the public understand the situation, Disability Inclusion will improve and Persons With Disabilities will be able to participate in social, economic and political activities.
