The eighth edition of La Mode Foundation is set to hold on October 1 in partnership with Nigerian celebrities at Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
The CEO of the foundation, Sandra Odige said this at a Press Conference to kick off awareness for this year’s event.
According to Odige, the event is an all-inclusive charity event that creates awareness for Special People in conjunction with La Mode Disability Foundation.
comprising of Fashion Show, Awards and Giving Back to the Society thereby adding value and promoting humanitarian work. The theme says Persons with Disabilities can do more, hence we should focus on the impact, values, and skills that they have and not on their physical disabilities,” said Odige.
La Mode, Odige said is partnering with celebrities who are advocates of The Green October Event and who also have their non-governmental organisations where they add value to society.
Seun Osigbesan, a celebrity/advocate of the GreenOctoberevent said Humanity is all about adding value and we need to encourage differently-abled people because they need opportunities to display their skills.
