Hon. Lois Auta who is contesting to represent Kaura constituency at Kaduna State House of Assembly, described the rumor as fake news, baseless and handiwork of mischief makers.

PRESS RELEASE ON A PURPORTED WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTEST.
Gentlemen of the press, distinguished delegates, respective party faithfuls, my esteem supporters well-wishers and the entire good people of Kaura Local Government.
My attention has been drawn to rumors currently in circulation that I have withdrawn/stepped down from the contest at the primary election for the member representing the good people of the Kaura Constituency, scheduled for 26th May 2022.
I hereby call on our party faithfuls, all delegates, the good people of Kaura Local Government and the entire members of the public to disregard the fake news and baseless rumors going round that I have stepped down or withdrawn from the contest, it is the handwork of mischief makers, enemies of democracy and progress of our people.
I am reiterating to the members of our great party All Progressives Congress (APC) delegates, well wishers and amazing supporters of our E.Q.U.A.L Agenda and the entire people of Kaura, that I am part of the contest and I will be fully part of it until result is announced. Thank you for your overwhelming support,Together we can change the narratives.
