The Executive Director, Centre for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD), and Convener Coalition of Disability Organizations (CODO), David Anyaele has been appointed as Special Assistant On Disability to the Abia State governor, Dr. Alex Otti.
In a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kazie Uko, David Anyaele was among the 12 other appointees as Gov. Alex Otti made public 13 new appointments.

It is an advocacy tool or public enlightenment campaign platform to change the mindset of the public about disability because if the public understand the situation, Disability Inclusion will improve and Persons With Disabilities will be able to participate in social, economic and political activities.
