The Office of CRS APC Special Leader in Partnership with the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities Seeks new grounds to reach the less privilege in CRS through Assembly of God care Compassion Ministries, Calabar District.
As a follow up to kind gesture of giving out mobility aids by the Assemblies of God Care Compassionate Ministries Calabar District as facilitated by Chief Edet Asia – the CRS APC Special Leader;yesterday.
The Coordinator in Calabar South District -Rev. Anthony had a meeting with the APC State Special Leader (APC-SSL) in his office in the presence of other disability stakeholders and APC State Asst. secretary.
In the brief but impactful meeting the APC- SSL thank the coordinator for his magnanimity of reaching the unreached in our society through their care compassionate ministry.
He said this is one of the cardinal function on which the early church was founded, and he is ready via the position of his office to go all out to seek collaboration with others who are ready to extend their corporate social responsibility to his kind of persons in CRS.
In response, Rev Anthony emptied his mind on why the care compassionate ministry was founded and that to him is a calling and big privilege to serve God and put smiles to anybody he gets in contact with, especially those that cannot afford it.
According to Rev Anthony the ministry gave out some mobility aids to some persons with Disabilities in December and the last two were the ones that were distributed on Friday via the request of the APC- SSL.
He thanked Chief Edet Asia for his doggedness and resilience and also express his delight to the party for recognizing the persons with disabilities and prayed that other parties should follow same. The meeting which started by 11.14am came to an end at 11.38am with a closing prayer by Pst Clement, who happened to be the link between the APC-SSL and the A.G Care Compassionate Ministry.
