It was a joyous moment for the entire Anambra Disability Community as the Chairman of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) Anambra State Chapter, a member of Anambra State Disability Rights Commission and ardent member of Boys Brigade Comrade Ugochukwu Okeke got wedded to his better half Miss Chinwedu Anikwe, staff of Anambra State Disability Rights Commission at Our Savior Anglican Church Umunaka Otolo Nnewi on 6th January 2023.

The officiating priest, who is also the vicar of the parish, Rev Prosper Ezebilo called on the new couple to continue to uphold the vows they took before God and the congregation and pray that their union will be a point of reference to the society.

Delivering the sermon Rev Onyekachukwu Enemuo reminded the couple that they are one body and charged them to remain faithful to one another. He described Comrade Ugo Okeke as humble, kind and dedicated to the things of God and service to humanity especially the rights of persons with disabilities and charges him never to deviate. He prayed the union will continue to abide in the love of God.

Giving their vote of thanks, Comrade and Mrs Ugochukwu Okeke appreciated all who came to celebrate their beautiful moment with them and promise to build an exemplary family worthy of emulation.
