The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities, James David Lalu has successfully obtained his Doctorate Degree (PhD) at the prestigious University of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
During a brief ceremony held in Jos recently on the account of the feat, the Executive Secretary enjoined Persons with Disabilities to remain focused and trust in their abilities towards attaining any height, and accomplishing set goals as time bestows on them.
“My success is indeed your success and this is evidently enhanced through this wonderful and triumphant time in my life as a Person with Disability. So I urge all of us in the Disability Community to remain of good courage and conduct in order to reach our God ordained destinations” he said.
While expressing his gratitude to the Management and Staff of University of Jos, Lalu further advocated that Inclusive education is a bedrock to equal opportunities in education for every individual irrespective of their situations.
