The newly Appointed Chairman Kogi State disability board paid a thank you visit to Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Wednesday.
The chairman of the disability office, Hon. Arome alongside with the Executive Secretary of the board paid a thank you visit to GYB in Abuja, for considering them worthy to serve in that capacity to the interest of the people.
Hon. Arome appreciated GYB for creating the enabling environment for PWDs in kogi State to air their views and as well as participating in the policy making.
He said that PWDs as it is in the past faced exacerbating, existential challenges and discrimination before the adventurous of GYB.
He used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to support GYB2PYB, saying that he has a lot of confidence in GYB to lead Nigeria to the promise land because he will bring the government closer to the people especially PWDs.
Pharmacist Asuku (COS) who received the team on behalf of his Boss GYB, appreciated them for coming.
Asuku in his speech, affirmed the contribution of Hon. Arome Daniel towards Persons With Disabilities across Kogi State and Nigeria at large in terms of their Political, Economical and Social Development.
He added that his boss always sees PWDs as people of capacity who have all it takes to deliver.
Pharmacist Asuku noted that the overwhelming support for the appointment of Hon. Daniel Arome by GYB is a testament to the fact that the appointee passionate for the field of human endeavor as well as dedication towards APC.
He charged Hon. Arome to go and exploit for the PWDs in Kogi State.
