Groups Sensitize Persons With Albinism on Skin Care

White Angels’ Foundation in partnership with Anambra State Albinism Association on Saturday, 15th January, 2022, The held a sensitisation program tagged “Time to treat the skin”. This was held at Asaba Delta State.

The program was geared towards the eradication of skin cancer in persons with ALBINISM. The essence of this program was to educate the parents and children with ALBINISM on the need to treat and protect their skin from cancer.

Dr. Mrs Nkechi Enemchukwuin in her lecture on Skin Care enjoined the parents to protect their kids from the Uttaviolet rays of the sun.

The Founder and CEO of the foundation Nzelu Sussan encouraged the parents and adviced them to report any case of school teachers’ maltreatment on any Child with ALBINISM to the foundation.

The event was crowned with skin consultation and checkups by the dermatologist and lots of gift items were shared to both parents and children. Every person with Albinism had his or her sunscreens, lip balms, hats, umbrellas and little refreshments to go with them. 

Present at the event were Ezeonwumelu Vivian the Chairperson Anambra State Albinism Association, Mr James Onyemeh The Vice Chairman, The Coordinator Albinism Association Edo state and many others.
