Es,NCPWD James Lalu attends funeral of Late Director, Human Resources, NCPWD, Mr Aminu Hassan James, consoles his family

The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities, Mr. James David Lalu, ably represented by the Assistant Director, Social Integration, Mr. Jatau Kpeno, led a delegation of management and staff of the Commission to the funeral and internment ceremony of the late Director, Human Resources of the Commission, Mr. Hassan Aminu James.

The mood was sober and tearful as the remains of the deceased was laid to rest today the 1st of July in his hometown Katukan Filiya village of Shongom Local Government of Gombe State.

The funeral was attended by family, friends and well wishers all of whom came to pay their last respects and bid farewell to a man many had described glowingly as a man of peace and humility.

Speaking at the funeral, the ES extolled the virtues of the Late Hassan, syaring that his presence would.be sorely missed at the Commission and by all who had met him as he led an exemplary life worthy of commendation and emulation.

In a press release signed by Mbanefo JohnMichael I, the head of Media and Publicity, NCPWD, the ES encouraged everyone to be mindful of the limited time, all had to make impacts on earth, stressing that death was an inevitability and an equaliser.

The ES extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, and prayed that God give them the strength to bear the loss.

Others present at the funeral included the Chairman Board of Ordained Ministry, Rev. Ishaku Yusuf, who spoke about the steadfastness of late Mr. Hassan Aminu and how he had inspired and imparted knowledge in the lives of the youth through relemtless Community service.

The Assistance Director, Public Administration Department, who represented the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Usman Orobo, said that late Mr. Hassan Aminu was a humble and dedicated man during his time in service. He prayed for the repose of his soul and wished the family well 3v3n as they faced a life without their father brother and husband.
