The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons with Disabilities, Mr. James David Lalu has said that it is the duty of the Commission to identify with the family of the late Aminu Hassan James, who died recently after a brief illness .
In a press release signed by Mbanefo JohnMichaels I, Head Media and Publicity Unit (NCPWD), the ES made this known 28th June, 2022 in Abuja when he, in the company of some members of the Management team of the Commission payed a condolence visit to the family in their residence at Wuse, Abuja.
Lalu who was visibly affected by the sad occurrence said that the late Hassan James “though had a brief spell at the Commission but, showed an exemplary character and traits of a team player”
The ES further pledged his support on behalf of the Commission to the family and promised that the Commission will participate fully during the funeral.
In his response, the first son of the family Mr Ibrahim Aminu who spoke for the family, expressed a deep sense of appreciation to the delegation and further disclosed that the visit brought succour to the family as well as a sense of belonging.
Meanwhile, the Wake keep in honour of his late Hassan James took place yesterday 29th of June, 2022 at Church of Unity, Area one axis of Abuja.
