| The European Union (E.U.), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and various development partners came together to encourage Nigerians to get their Permanent Voters Card and vote right for the candidates that will give a change to Nigeria. The campaign took place in Lagos from 6th – 11th June 2022 at Tafawa Balewa Square (T.B.S.) and Abuja from 20th – 25th June 2022 at Old Parade Ground. Many celebrities like Tuface, M.I. Falz the bad guy, Phyno and many more were invited to encourage Nigerians to vote. The Ambassador to E.U. and ECOWAS, Samuela Isopi, told Nigeria to come out and vote right. She appreciated the efforts of INEC and the developing partners, such as Jake Epelle of The Albino Foundation; she called him the Champion for Inclusion in Nigeria. INEC chairman Mahmoud Yakubu mentioned that over 14,000 Nigerians have registered in the Old Parade Ground and stated that the registration deadline had been extended until three months before the election. |
