The Executive Director of Centre for Citizens with Disabilites CCD, Mr. David Obinna Anyaele has been appointed as a member of Transition Council of Governor-elect of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti.
In a press release signed by Ferdinand Ekeoma, Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to the Abia State Governor-elect on Thursday, Mr. David Anyaele’s name was found in number 68 of the list of Transition Council Members to be inaugurated today 14th April, 2023.
The inauguration would be graced by Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iwela who will deliver the keynote address.
The transition council would be chaired by Mr. Victor Onyenkpa and the Co.chairman is Mrs Ifueko Omogui Okauru.

You will recall that Dr. Alex Otti was declared winner and returned as the duly elected governor of Abia state after a convincing Victory at the 18th March governorship polls in Abia state, has made it clear that he would pay special attention to Aba by investing massively in infrastructure so as to rebuild the city and restore its lost glory in a manner it would become a choice destination for investors, business men and women and visitors alike.
The renowned economist insists that Aba is very strategic in actualizing economic resurgence in Abia in particular, and in the South East as a whole, hence his promise to dedicate an entire Ministry to the city.
“Otti’s decision to host his Transition Council’s inauguration and deliberations in Aba is a strategic move geared towards drawing the necessary attention to the Enyimba City.
The council will officially be inaugurated on today, April 14th, 2023, in Aba, Abia State by 10 am prompt, with in-house plenary sessions commencing thereafter and continuing till Saturday, April 15, 2023, after which sessions will continue virtually.
