…4 community boreholes constructed and commissioned in commemoration of his Birthday

Still in the aura of his birthday celebration, the Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area, Hon.(Dr) Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira today visited the Wesley School for the Blind and Pacelli School, Ajao road and Atanda-olu school for the physically and mentally challenged in Surulere as part of activities to herald the climax of his birthday celebration
While speaking during the visit, Hon Apatira pointed out that the visit was part of his goodwill activities and that children in the homes deserved the support and care of all members of the society.
“I felt that in commemoration of my birthday celebration , it is important to also visit the less privileged children and show them some love.
“I am donating these items for the upkeep of the children. I pray that this will add more nutritional value to their health.” “This isn’t the first nor the second and it won’t be the last visit, I would be here often to check on them. Thank you very much
Appreciating the chairman’s visit, the proprietress of Atanda-olu school for the physically and mentally challenged, Mrs Onasanwo Olatunde Maruf said, “I sincerely appreciate you for providing the needs of the children and I must say the visit is indeed a sincere one, you keep calling to update us and care for the children
“Your tenderheartedness and thoughtfulness will be of great help to increase the well-being of the children. On behalf of the management, staff and the children I say thank so much and many more years to celebrate in good health, grace and blessings
Consequently, 4 community boreholes at Abiodun Wright in Ikate community, Adeboyejo street in Ijeshatedo community, Ogumuyiwa and Ijikoyejo street in Itire community were constructed and commissioned to climax the birthday celebration of the council boss.
Itire-Ikate APC LGA Chairman, Alhaji Safariyu-Ayinde Kushimo who represented the council boss posited that the borehole project undertaken in personal capacity of the council helsman has proven his love for the progress of the residents of the council adding that the people would always remember him for the gesture
“Since his assumption of office, he has promised to work to put smiles on the faces of his people and one of such ways to achieve this momentous desire is the provision of boreholes for the use of the communities
Alhaji Kushimo further assured residents of more projects in the various communities while urging them to take ownership of the borehole for proper maintenance
The program was decorated with the presence of the council leader, Hon. Hammed Oladipupo Idris, SLG, Hon Kehinde Baruwa, Deputy leader, Hon Santos-Martins Adeshola, Majority Leader, Hon Isiaka Alalukimba, Deputy Majority Leader, Hon Olaoluwa Agbeyangi, Chief Whip, Hon Tunde Arole-Fancy, Deputy Chief Whip, Hon Adewale Olori, Hon Adebisi Adetayo, LGA Secretary, Mr Abiodun Osunmo amongst a host of others.
