The Executive Secretary, National Commission for Persons With Disabilities, Mr. James David Lalu has expressed deep condolence to the parents and family of Anifa Abubakar who was gruesomely murdered recently in Nigeria by agents of darkness who have taken to kidnapping.
Lalu made this expression recently while addressing Newsmen in Abuja on the significance of ethics and values in our society.
According to him, the five-year old, beautiful and promising girl, full of life was kidnapped on the 2nd December 2021 by her proprietor who demanded six million naira in exchange for her release.
Lalu further seized the platform to urge Persons with disabilities, parents and guardians to be wary of the Calibre of schools they enroll their children and wards in order to forestall such occurrence in the future.
The ES also called on security agents to step up the fight against kidnapping and banditry in the country as a mark of honour to the souls of the victims of this menace.
He went further to applaud President Muhammadu Buhari for promulgating kidnappers and their likes as terrorists who must be severely dealt with.
