TAF Africa has commended Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for approving 5% employment slots for persons with disabilities in Nasarawa State.
In a post published in the TAF Africa official Facebook page, the group called on other State Governors to follow this exemplary act of Governor Abdullahi Audu Sule, by entrenching disability inclusion in their government.
You will recall that recently, through the Nasarawa State Office of Head of Civil Service, the governor gave a directive that 5percent of every vacancies in their recruitment exercise should be reserved for persons with disabilities in line with Section 29 of Discrimination Against Persons With Disabilities ( Prohibition) Act 2018.
