DRAC set to hold First Abuja Inclusion Fair

As part of effort to improve the economic wellbeing of women and girls with disabilities, Disability Rights Advocacy Center (DRAC) is implementing the Break the Cycle project with support from FCDO through
CBM-UK.

Through the project, DRAC has:
• Pioneered fifty (50) disability-led Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLA) in
Nigeria.
• Trained 382 women with disabilities in different vocational skill trainings such as:
tailoring, bag and bead making, cosmetology, hair dressing, catering, shoe making, chair
making, and computer education.

In order to publicise and sell products from their vocational skills training and kickstart WGWD’s microenterprises, helping them to overcome discrimination and stigma, DRAC is organizing the first Abuja Inclusion Fair scheduled
to hold on Friday March 25, 2022, at Garki International Market, Abuja by 10am.
