EEAS invites TAF, CedarSeed, Seeks To Intervene On Health And Education Of PWDs in Nigeria

The Albino Foundation’s CEO/Founder, Jake Epelle, and Lois Auta were invited to brief the Managing Director for the European External Action Service (EEAS) Africa, Ms. Rita Laranjinha, who was on a visit to Nigeria, on TAF work concerning Education, Health and Governance.

Ms. Rita Laranjinha agreed on the need for the European Union to look into the Education and Health of Persons with Disabilities in Nigeria.

She also mentioned that the EU could not do everything, which is why organisations like TAF are encouraged to continue their efforts in the disability communities.

The Ambassador of the European Union Delegation in Nigeria and ECOWAS, Samuela Isopi, stated that they are investing a lot in education for out-of-school children.

The Albino Foundation continue to put efforts toward education as TAF has been invited to the National Council of Education for the Plenary session.
